Spark is AHF’s women’s affinity group the was created to provide support, purpose, advocacy, resource, and knowledge to ALL that identifies as a female. Our target age group is ages 10-99
Some of our popular engagement activities are the following:
Lunch or Brunch & Learn with topics like Financial literacy, Relevant Women’s health and sexual health Topics, Mental Health, Physical Health,.
Unique Testing/ Know your Status Education partnerships with popular local restaurants, schools, other local women’s organizations.
Spark CARES Packages clothes and shoes donation that targets to specific families. (We obtain sizes in advance)
Homeless Shelter Kitchen take overs with pre printed educational material and journals.
Spark Connections Support/Discussion group based discussions around relevant women’s health and current social topics.
Menstrual and Period awareness and education meetings with menstrual products goodie bags
We are currently present in the Southern Bureau and the Western Bureau.
